We are delighted to confirm we have completed the internal and external refurbishment works at Daniel House.

The Daniel House in London is an academic facility of Samford University, USA. The building was purchased by Samford University in 1983 and serves as a student accommodation and learning centre arranged over basement, ground and four upper floors. The building is located on the west side of Ashburn Gardens in the upmarket area of South Kensington. The property is a terraced townhouse dating from the 1870s forms part of the Courtfield Conservation Area.

The project included the internal and external refurbishment and alterations to upgrade the building envelope and services and to alter the internal layout and provide a rooftop extension and partial lift access.

The works included external restoration and decoration, structural works, new ironmongery, joinery.

Plastering and decoration to the main staircase, fibrous plaster repairs to cornices.

New mechanical and electrical installation. Installation of  heat recovery ventilation units, hot water and heating systems, plastering of the walls and ceilings, new WCs and shower rooms.

Flooring, decoration and furnishing of the students’ bedrooms, double glazing. 

We have been working alongside Bond Bowman Chartered Surveyors, Jeffery Weeks Consulting Ltd and architects Healycornelius Design ltd.
