We have recently completed the reinstatement, repair and refurbishment works of Unit E. Unit E is an industrial property with self-contained office accommodation over ground and first floor levels. Unit E is part of Heathrow West Business Park located in Langley, Slough.

Commercial projects are usually designed to be aesthetically attractive and have a good physical location. Industrial properties are on the other end of the spectrum, almost always located on the outskirts of a town and built for functionality, not style. Despite the design based on functional, the industrial project can be impressive with their simplicity and clean lines. The transformation of an old industrial property to elegant and functional working space can be a very rewarding process for the project team. The beauty of the industrial design is in the simplicity, basic geometric lines and clean surfaces.

The works at Unit E included external repairs including corrosion treatment of roofing sheets; renewal of the rooflights and general maintenance and decorations.

The internal works include strip out works; new suspended ceiling, LED lighting and floor coverings to the ancillary block;

Refurbishment of the WC’s; and redecorations throughout.

 

We have been working alongside Tuffin Ferraby Taylor LLP. The project duration was 12 weeks. Deue to the tight programme the project was very challenging, but with the proactive and professional approach of our team we have completed the project by the client’s requirements.
