Project Type: Residential Refurbishment/ Fit Out

Client: The Church Commissioners of England

Caption: A quick glimpse of our residential refurbishment project at Clarendon House, London W2.

We have separated the two basement flats of this Grade II listed building to create self-contained contemporary living areas and a common part corridor serving the flats above, containing all the M&E services.

The works started with the excavation of the floor slab to enable waterproofing and installation of the cavity drain system. Structural works were carried out to facilitate the new layouts. Works included new internal partition walls to suit updated room layouts and wall linings, allowing for the upgrade of fire, acoustic and insulation levels.

New mechanical, electrical and sanitary services were installed, including a new central heating system, lighting and small power services, and mechanical ventilation. New incoming services include gas, electric and full-fibre internet installation.

We have updated the property’s look with new fitted kitchens, bathrooms, and new furniture.

New joinery has been installed, including French doors inviting light inside and creating bright and airy leaving space. We restored the retained heritage windows and doors to their original beauty.

Our most skilled craftspeople are on the job to careful refurbish the original listed ‘cold store’ and transform it into a modern walk-in wardrobe creating a timeless blend of classic and contemporary elegance.

We have completed the Internal decorations throughout, the external redecorations and repairs, including the waterproofing of 5 vaults for bike/bin storage.

Watch this space for more updates on this beautifully refurbished property.
