50 Kings Hill is a commercial office building with three floors of office space and a total area of 50,291 sq ft.
The proposed scheme was for Landlord’s CAT A Improvement works, which required replacement and repair works to the central plant, equipment and ancillary systems to improve the EPC rating to a minimum of a C.
The works included the installation of new energy efficient LED lighting to all office areas, installation of a Power Factor Correction unit, overhauling the existing Atrium Ventilation system, replacement of all boilers, both chillers and both AHU’s with the associated plant as well as the installation of solar control film to all external glazing.
The works had been carried out over 26 weeks with a project value of £1.4M. We have been working alongside 2020 Associates who were appointed as the Contract Administrator, Green Building Design who were the M&E Consultants and the Beacon group who carried out the M&E installation.
