Clarendon House is located at the heart of the Hyde Park Estate and is a short distance away from the boutique shops, cafe’s, restaurants and pubs of Connaught Village. Hyde Park, Oxford Street and the West End are also all nearby. Situated within the Bayswater Conservation Area the property is designated as Grade II listed building.
The works involved are a complete internal refurbishment of vacant residential space in the basement of the 7a/b Clarendon House.
The internal refurbishment works and repairs to the residential basement areas included the complete strip out and formation for two basement flats. This included floor excavation, waterproofing and structural alterations. New mechanical and electrical services, drainage and mechanical ventilation. Chang of the internal layout – we have separated the 2 basement flats of this Grade II listed building to create self-contained contemporary living areas along with a common part corridor serving the flats above, containing all the M&E services. Including new ceilings, kitchen and sanitaryware, new doors, windows and decorations whilst retaining the original features of this period property. Refurbishment of the original listed ‘cold store’ transforming it into a modern walk-in wardrobe creating a timeless blend of classic and contemporary elegance.
The entire property has been finished with stunning interiors and refurbished to a very high standard. We have been working alongside JLL.
