The works involved the replacement of lantern lights from original gas installations to electric ensuring that the historic ambience of the lighting remained. Handrail and joinery repairs were undertaken and the main entrance doors were fully overhauled completing the works with sympathetic stone repairs and cleaning to the main entrance steps and brass engraved plaques to the entrance areas.
