We have recently completed our external refurbishment project at Thames Wharf Studios, London, W6. The roof replacement works and repairs to Blocks 4 and 5 are the largest single roof replacement project we have completed, with the exception of our project at the Royal Exchange Building.

We have been awarded this project following the successful completion of the refurbishment of the office floors and common part areas of Block 5 and 6 at Thames Wharf Studios in 2019.

Thames Wharf Studios are situated in the London borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, a prominent West London address. The building is located on the Hammersmith Embankment within the Fulham Reach Conservation Area and benefits from exceptional views over the River Thames. The area is full of buildings of architectural heritage including the Harrods Depository just across the river.

The works included the installation of Mansafe fall protection systems, roof replacement and repairs, new rooflights, brickwork and carpentry repairs and new gutter linings.

The project has been awarded the Performance Beyond Compliance Considerate Constructors Scheme Certificate. The certificate confirms that the site performed beyond compliance in the five key sections of the scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice: care about appearance, respect the community, protect the environment, care about safety, and value the workforce.

This has been our largest single roof replacement project and we are very proud of the results. The works have been completed to a very high standard and have been managed exceptionally well with many logistical challenges being overcome. Our construction teams were working hard to ensure the project timeframes and the highest quality finishes were achieved.
